MobiQ is a new brand developed by DENSO Products and Services Americas, Inc. to support the emerging smart mobility and smart city projects. MobiQ currently focuses on selling the critical Roadside Unit, Onboard Unit, and Keyless Access.
Background
DENSO Products and Services Americas, Inc. (DPAM), the parent company of MobiQ, has been providing automotive aftermarket products and services for over 75 years.
The main business categories of DENSO Products and Services Americas Inc., include:
- Connected products and services where smart mobility and MobiQ reside.
- Mainstream automotive aftermarket products.
- Heavy Duty aftermarket products.
DPAM is a “founding” partner in developing smart mobility to enable the safe and efficient movement of people and goods. DPAM has been working with SAE, ITS, and USDOT over a decade and contributing to the standardization of V2X.
DPAM has partnered with numerous cities and municipalities to deliver connected vehicle pilots and projects across the country.

Freight Signal Priority
A Freight Signal Priority project to improve the efficient movement of goods while correspondingly reducing CO2 emissions. Goals included:
- Improving travel time reliability
- Enhance intersection traffic safety
- Reduce stops and correspondingly improve fuel efficiency
Pedestrian Safety
Project to enhance safety for pedestrians and drivers. Implementation of real-time, vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I), and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communications.
